That's very interesting Metatron. Do you have links to any articles for further reading on the subject of inflammation as a cause of disease?
I also have a friend who has severe irratable bowel syndrome and also a family history of Crohns disease which she is worried about. New findings like that could be useful.

just because they go to 5 meetings a week, and try to dish out magazines, when themselves don't read half of it.. i know people of other religions, who have more love than many of the jw's have.
i know people who don't have a religion, who have more heart than many of the jw's.. so, why do they think that they alone will be saved?.

When I was a JW I must have thought it was such a presumptious belief that it would have to be changed. Obviously not and I should have known cos the GB are nothing if not egotistical.

They believe only JW's will be saved because they're more of a cult than a religion because of their exclusivity teaching of salvation. Saying you don't need to be a JW is something of a fallacy cos their teaching is that only those doing what JW's do are going to be saved.... which are JW's obviously
They claim exclusivity in doing a preaching work but there were missionaries from other religions all round the world hundreds of years before the WTS was set up. The preaching of the 'good news of the kingdom' was the only pre-requisite in the bible and not of the old hebrew god YHWH.
Interesting article Blondie. I might be wrong but didn't the org change their policy on the faithful and discreet slave doing the marking from the secretary's inkhorn? Also that the preaching work wasn't 'marking' people for destruction or salvation?

There are two centres in the UK at the forefront of stem cell research that I know of. They are at Newcastle Universtity and Edinburgh University. Since the South Korean research was involved in scandal the UK is at the forefront of stem cell research and I believe these two centres have licenses for all embryonic and umbilical research. Both centres have recently received multi-million pound grants to fund their research. It's just a problem that they aren't in the US and would mean the cost of travel and accomodation if your offer of clinical trial was taken up.

my daughter (let's call her abbadette) is visting me in the netherlands for the frist time this week.
she's nearly 16 and lives with her mum who is largely inactive but still culticly influenced.. my darling abbadette has kind of figured out that it is a load of (passes keyboard to daughter) utter and complete shite.. (regains use of keyboard) where ever did she learn langauage like that?
